ProgressNest ("we", "us", "our") is a child educational progress tracking platform operated by Deepak Toora, based in the United Kingdom. Our website is accessible at edutrackapp.co.uk. You can contact us at [email protected].
We are committed to protecting your personal data and the personal data of your children in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:

3. Children's Data — Special Protections
ProgressNest is designed for parents and guardians to track their own children's educational progress. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. All data about children is entered by the parent or guardian who holds the account.
Children's data is treated with the highest level of care under UK GDPR Article 8. It is used solely to provide the educational tracking service and is never shared with third parties for marketing, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
If you are a parent and wish to remove your child's data, you can delete the child profile from within the app, or request full account deletion (see Section 7).
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data under the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — to provide the ProgressNest service you have signed up for
- Legitimate interests — to improve our service, prevent fraud, and ensure security
- Consent — for analytics cookies and marketing communications (you can withdraw at any time)
- Legal obligation — where required by UK law
5. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following trusted third parties only to the extent necessary to operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe stores your payment method securely. We never see or store your card details. Stripe Privacy Policy

- Manus Platform — hosting, authentication, and AI services. Data is processed in accordance with Manus's data processing agreement. Manus Privacy Policy
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or your children's data with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data (including children's profiles, milestones, goals, insights, and reports) is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by UK tax law, but these are held by Stripe and contain no children's data.
7. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data (you can update most data directly in the app)
- Right to erasure — delete your account and all associated data via Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing us
- Right to portability — request your data in a portable format
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Right to restrict processing — request we limit how we use your data
- Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent for analytics at any time via the cookie settings
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We use analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner or by contacting us.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session management, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take data security seriously and will notify you promptly in the event of a breach that affects your rights.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notification. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
